Inseama, Durational Performance, Basel Social Club, Basel, 2025

A lone performer hauls, wears, and drags a mountain of worn-out trousers—attempting to orient through these discarded uniforms. Inseama, a slow-forming, sculpture-like creature, begins to emerge—turning the bank building inside out. The body becomes the building’s hidden seam.

The trousers act as both space and residue, mapping the collision of memory and matter—an image of not fitting. Disorientation here is not a lapse but a method: a loop of gestures without arrival—circling, staggering, pausing. This sculptural performance embodies a sustained struggle with constructed space—engaging not only physically, but also mentally and historically.
