Performing the installation:
This was realized inside the Bernardine Monaster's Cellar in Lviv. The interior was painted black and details of the interior space were lost. I painted the corners and the edges of the cellar white, in underscoring the details of the space and the interior structure. After the intervention, the interior was made explicit from its black structure; through the white lines which showed the edges of the cellar. The performance took place over seven days, spending 5-6 hours a day in the space. This site-specific intervention was meant to re-treat the space as I was on a retreat as an artist in the venue.
